For now (28.1.08)

For now

Every turn’s a bad turn

and every right’s a wrong,

Every moment transitory,

I belong,

I don’t belong.

Knowing the compass

Seeing horizon’s clear,

Turning, stern, to otherness,

anticipation, fear.

Consumed in self-indulgence,

parting with ties that bind,

Seeking thrills, inspiration,

living to discover, to find

something beyond the routine,

beyond the in and out

a spark of something precious

to be mined, refined, to mount.

For now this is perplexing

For now this so real

For now this is reality (fantasy)

For now, this is,

         for now.
